SIZE: These frames are rated S (on a scale of S, M, L, XL) These frames measure approximately 1.5 inches (38mm) tall. Measurements are measured from the widest vertical axis (up and down) of the sunglass frame.
Level I: Polycarbonate Polarized Electric’s Polycarbonate Polarized lenses combine the high performance material polycarbonate with the glare reducing features of an optical polarized filter. These lenses are superior to ordinary tints with benefits that include: glare reduction, true color perception, unmatched clarity of vision and superior scratch resistance. Electric’s Polycarbonate Polarized lenses provide the benefit of filtering out reflected light and glare off cars, water, pavement, sand and snow. This lens works great for any activity where high glare conditions exist. Electric’s PC polar lens achieves 99% efficiency in blocking polarized light waves and blocks 100% of the suns damaging UV rays, while maintaining excellent optical clarity.
Level II: Visual Evolution Polarized Electric’s Visual Evolution Polarized Lens combines the features of our exceptional PC Polarized Lenses with synthetic melanin and high performance coatings to enhance your visual experIence. Melanin provides the wearer with added protection against harmful UV and blue light. The V.E. lens also utilizes a 3-layer anti-reflective treatment which is applied to the inner lens to prevent light from reflecting off the back surface of the lens into the wearer’s eye. It also uses a flash mirror coating to create a soft mirror finish to the base color of the polarized lens. This treatment does not mask or darken the base color of the lens and leaves the light transmission virtually unchanged which allows for the natural color and clarity of the lens to come through.
Level III: Mineral Glass Polarized Electric’s Mineral Glass Polarized lenses use pure optical glass which guarantees unequalled visual clarity, color brilliance and contrast. They grant great protection in the sun and improved sharpness of vision because optical glass does not distort images. Glass is known to be a noble material that does not scratch and due to its hardness and natural purity of raw material maintains its optical characteristics over time. This composition (two glass wafers and film) makes up 1.8 mm of thickness in base 6 lenses and de-centered base 8 are 2 mm thick in the center and 1.7 mm at the external part of the lens. This is the lightest glass polarized lens available today. The polarized film used in Electric Mineral Glass Polarized lenses are produced exclusively for Electric’s manufacturer and blocks 100% UV rays. It eliminates glare with an efficiency equal to 99.99%. Electric mineral glass polarized lenses are the benchmark for quality, performance and optical clarity.
